Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy

Delta International Recruiting Agency has a zero-tolerance policy on bribery and corruption. We believe in honesty, fairness, and transparency in all our business dealings and relationships wherever we operate. We are determined to discourage corrupt practices and bribery and utilizing the best of our efforts and energies in implementing and enforcing efficient systems to counter bribery and corruption.

We will uphold all laws relevant to countering bribery and corruption in all the jurisdictions in which we operate. Delta International Recruiting Agency’s anti-corruption and bribery policy are guided by and aligned with “The Prevention Of Corruption Act, 1947” mentioned in the constitution of Pakistan and is in line with Federal Investigation’s Authority Pakistan.

Whoever accepts either for himself or for any other person any gratification as a reward for exercising any such right, or for inducing or attempting to induce any other person to exercise any such right, commits the offense of bribery. Provided that a declaration of public policy or a promise of public action shall not be an offense under the section. A person who offers, or agrees to give, or offers or attempts to procure, a gratification shall be deemed to give a gratification.

A person who obtains or agrees to accept or attempts to obtain a gratification shall be deemed to accept a gratification, and a person who accepts a gratification as a motive for doing what he does not intend to do, or as a reward for doing what he has not done, shall be deemed to have accepted the gratification as a reward.

Punishment for bribery: Whoever commits the offense of bribery shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to one year, or with fine or with both; Provided that bribery by treating shall be punished with fine only. Explanation: Treating’ means that form of bribery where the gratification consists in food, drink, entertainment, or provision.

“Corruption is the abuse of entrusted power for private gains” (Transparency International, 2015). Corruption is a widespread phenomenon and continues to be a moral challenge for many countries. It is commonly defined as the misuse or violation of power. Corruption is a kind of deception, which can be considered as the tendency to deceive in order to gain an unfair advantage to satisfy one’s needs.

Delta International Recruiting Agency strongly discourages corrupt practices and corruption and believes in transparency and accountability. We regularly invite popular personalities at our office to lecture the staff regarding bribery and corruption. Apart from that, we have a very strict check and balance system in place, where staff is monitored during working hours and use/sharing of personal mobile or email is strictly prohibited.

Complaints, feedback, and suggestions box is placed at our Head Office which is check regularly and anyone can write the complaint about any event or report any issue directly to the management through Phone, SMS, or email.
